One of our first escapes was in Denmark. We chose to fly to Malmo, and then took a shuttlebus to Copenhagen.

We went there in February, when average temperature was ~0 degrees. That didn’t stop us to walk around 20km a day, visiting the city’s main attractions.

Nyhavn, the old port

Swans are the symbol of Copenhagen

Kastellet

One day we went to Helsingor, an old city north of Copenhagen, where there is Kronborg Castle, where  William Shakespeare’s wrote the play Hamlet.

And the city had its nice, old nordic feeling

Also, we had a shuttle-like room in the city center.

Anyhow, this is just a piece of our trip to Copenhagen. It’s a nice destination for a city-break, a nice encounter with one of the most bike and environmental friendly places.
